Authors with original research are encouraged to
submit abstracts relevant to men’s health!
The accepted abstracts will be shown at the poster presentation of the Men’s Health World Congress in Nice, France. A very limited number of abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation. Please indicate your preference at the beginning of the abstract.
The 3 best submitted abstracts will be awarded with a prize.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the journal of men’s health (jmh).
Abstract submission deadline:
September 13th, 2010
All authors who wish to present their abstract at the congress have to pay the registration fee until September 20, 2010. No honorarium, travel or accommodation expenses will be provided for presentations.
Guidelines for abstract submission:
- Authors are requested to submit abstracts in English
- Please format your abstract in Microsoft Word
- The uploaded file has to be named with authors name and abstract title
- Type the author’s initial first and then the family name followed by the rest of the authors’ names, underlining the name of the presenting author, then the institutions, city and country (e.g. N. Huber1 , R. Schneider2, S. Müller3, 1Univ. Clinic, Dept. of Urology, Vienna, Austria, 2Hanusch Hospital, Vienna, Austria, 3Univ. Clinic Hamburg, Germany)
- Abstract titles should not be longer than two lines and should not be all in caps (e.g. correct: Comparative Analysis of the 3 PDE 5 Inhibitors Sildenafil, Tadalafil and Vardenafil – Personal Experience and Review of the Literature)
- The complete correspondent authors address and email has to be added at the very end of the abstract
- The abstract should not exceed 2,500 characters (including empty spaces)
- All abstracts must be structured as follows:
Background: A statement of the hypothesis or research question
Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used
Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstracts. Statements such as “additional information to be presented at the meeting” are not accepted.
Conclusion: Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study
- If possible, do not include graphs or tables
- Please note that submissions by fax are not possible
Abstracts, that do not comply with the guidelines,
will not be accepted!
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The accepted abstract will be assigned to appropriate poster sessions. A notification will be emailed to every author.
