6th Men’s Health World Congress
The 6th Men’s Health World Congress, that took place from October 9th to 11th, 2009 in Vienna, was an overwhelming success:
- 997 participants registered
- 868 attendees from 69 countries
- 102 presentations in symposia, plenary sessions and parallel sessions
- 219 accepted research abstracts
The unmet need of improving men’s health and aging male was perfectly communicated with the title “Why Men Die Earlier And Suffer More!”. The comprehensive scope of men’s health, which brings together multiple disciplines such as urology, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, gerontology, psychiatry, psychology, sexual and reproductive medicine, public health and others, was clearly evident in the Scientific Program of the 6th Men’s Health World Congress.
